Caught Up in the Layers- My new book!

Like many others, we have found ourselves unemployed. My husband’s employer of 22 years has processed global layoffs and moved what remains of his company out of the country. To help with our income, I spent the last couple of months writing and testing a new series of 8 steps that you can use in your abstract painting. Start to finish, the 8 steps can provide you a nice rounded composition, PLUS they can help you if you too need to create, when the heaviness of the current global situation may be blocking your creative energy.

The publishing business was good to Chris Cozen and I in the beginning, but we have not seen any royalties on “Acrylic Solutions” for over a year; since our publisher filed for bankruptcy and the title was purchased by Penguin books. I decided to take total control over these new ideas. Chris Cozen helped me develop the steps and I tested, wrote and photographed everything into 40 full color, glossy pages.

This book is not as technically heavy as “Acrylic Solutions” and makes a really nice companion piece to any of my online abstract painting workshops. I will be printing these on demand on October 15th and shipping them out as soon as they arrive from the printer, around November 1, 2020. My goal is to not have any stock left, so don’t miss out on this initial run. I can print more in a few months if demand persists. I’ll sign all of the copies in this first run.

A story of two paintings with my thoughts and process start to finish in a nice, paperback, glossy book you can refer to anytime you are painting. Click here to get your copy or to send one to anyone you know who paints.
