You guys. I totally love what I did with my studio space! I am wrapping up some small finishing touches and should be able to post some pictures at the end of the week.. If you're unfamiliar with the situation here, I have a very small studio...in my house..and I have had built in tables that run the length of two of the walls. They are excellent for saving space..but I needed a "tune-up".
Last year, for some reason, I was doing a lot of work standing at our counter-height kitchen table.. I really liked it. For my birthday last week, I asked my husband to demo the existing studio tables and raise them to standing height. Standing desks that you place on top of regular desks are expensive...and office looking...blah. Plus, a lot of them have mixed reviews.. I use 27" monitors (yes...monitorS) in here and did not want to run the risk of anything falling down.
It took a lot of elbow grease to recycle the tables that were in here.. and not very much money!
I can see myself painting in this space for a long time now... there is nowhere left to go after this recent change-up.....except outside....into a separate structure....built form the ground up...and when I hit the powerball jackpot, that is what I will do. :)
See you soon...back to dusting and organizing.
