Taking it back....way back to 2009

By popular demand, I have re-opened my original Layer Love v1.0 online workshop! Introduced back in 2009, Layer Love focused primarily on blending paint for journal pages and "backgrounds". Honestly, I don't like it when people call my current art "backgrounds".. but I realize that painting this way was a natural evolution to get me where I am today. We made 9 backgrounds/paintings in that old class.. here are a couple that I later embellished:
