I'm in the mood for love...

I made a second batch of Valentine's on Monday...weird, because I hate making a bunch of cards. I guess I needed a journaling break. These are painted backgrounds, on collage with ledger paper and machine stitching. Spray paint and colored pencil finish them off.

We're stuck in some sort of American vortex over here... I say that because no one seems to have received the memo that home prices should be coming down and qualified buyers should be becoming more scarce... My 2 cents? Realtors are the new "mortgage crooks"...wherein to drum up as many listings as possible, they are unfortunately inflating home prices to land their clients. If a seller interviews 2 realtors and one realtor says she/he can list for a higher price, the home owner gets it stuck in his head that he should be able to sell for that price.. Whatever it is, I know one thing. It's a mess.
