Culture Digested

Hi friends.. I read about the lunar event that took place on Monday night and decided to try to capture it with my camera. I got one shot....out of about 30 using my 50mm lens. The trick was absolute camera steadiness...which even with the tripod in place, was difficult.. I love the shot though...love the palm trees across the street...says "California" doesn't it? You're looking at Nature's Christmas Lights....Jupiter and Venus in very close proximity to the moon.

Yesterday was first Tuesday which means all of the museums in Balboa Park featured free admission for San Diegans. We visited three museums...my favorite part was being able to see Robert Batemen originals up close... wow. Talk about feeling like an insignificant artist...amazing amazing art.

Speaking of nature....she scored one the other day.
